Docks Area Landscape Master Plan This 35 acre riverfront park along the Sacramento River and the associated streetscape and courtyards were a part of the 90 acre mixed-use Docks Area Master Plan. The riverfront park is intended to become a regional open space destination hosting a number passive and active recreation opportunities. It also provides a key connection to the regional bike trail system. The riverfront park included a pedestrian riverfront promenade along its entire length, a variety of plazas located throughout, riverfront boat access, and large grass open spaces to accommodate a variety of recreational interests.
