Hotel Del Coronado Renovation Master Plan This project focused on producing a Master Plan for the renovation, expansion and enhancement of this 25 acre beachfront property that had been significantly compromised over the years by various developments. A world famous icon, the distinctive red-roofed main hotel was built in 1888 and is a National Historic Landmark. Protection of this status, as well as creating an attractive landscape indicative of the properties origins and reestablishing connections to the beach and surrounding community were chief goals of the Master Plan.
