Sugar Bowl Day Lodge

Sugar Bowl Day Lodge

One of the oldest ski resorts in California, Sugar Bowl was expanding and updating its operations with a new real-estate development, day lodge and outdoor base facilities. The local mining and railroad industries provided a vernacular design approach. A signature lower level entry plaza, circulation system and sun deck were designed to complement the 20,000 square foot structure and maximize both winter and summer use.
