Sugar Bowl Resort Master Plan This master planning project focused on building a larger bed base and upgrading skier facilities for the resort through sensitively planning new ski in / ski out custom home lots for sale on their existing property. Through the first phases of this process which was called “Lots for Lifts”, approx. 50 custom home lots and 24 turn key duplexes were sold to finance new lifts, parking lots and Day Lodge improvements. Future phases of development include: new condominium units and the Day Lodge portal, an expansion of the Day Lodge itself, expansion of hotel rooms and skier facilities at the original William Wurtser Lodge, an ice rink, a swim and spa club and an upgrade to the historic “Magic Carpet” gondola.
