![]() Tahoe Residence Restraint is the theme of this residence located in Glenbrook on the East Shore of Lake Tahoe. The existing mature Jeffery Pine forest surrounds the newly constructed main house and guest house. Ribbons of aspen trees thread their way through the forest, providing movement and color through seasonal changes. The forest floor is kept natural and simple, while metal retaining walls planted with red-twig dogwood accentuate the slope along the front of the property. Snow melt and rain water are collected in crushed stone and directed to a water garden for infiltration.
